[From Us] Beer and Mountains Tour

From the Rockies to the Smokies, the mountains bring us peace and relaxation from our busy lives. We have seen quite a bit after nearly 18 years together, but our yearly "Beer and Mountains Tour" allows for a brief slow down and appreciation for the world around us. Nothing makes you feel more alive than some of the views seen from the top of the world, and getting out of the everyday chaos into nature. These experiences are our break, and finding great beers is always a bonus.

This year marks our 4th trip taken in this fashion, and takes place in sunny California. California is a state neither of us have seen, and the northern part of the state satisfies our need for mountains and our thirst for beer. We have always talked about seeing the giant redwoods, catching a wave, sipping wine in Napa, and driving over the Golden Gate Bridge. What better way to check them all off a list, in 10 days, than to spend the entire time driving the scenic coastal highways from site to site in our rolling hotel room.

Follow along with us as we document this trip. This year we decided to make this adventure as visible to the public as possible. Our plan is to show everyone that if you work hard enough, and take the time to plan, you too can have some adventure in your lives.
